"Stay At Home" is Sarah Phelan's debut novel. Formerly a school teacher in her hometown, a daycare provider, a marketing executive and a graphic designer, Sarah has spent most of her "playtime" writing - producing numerous spec scripts, a feature film, short stories, plays and poetry as well as several "Lifestyles" articles for the local news. Sarah uses her experiences and her unique sense of life to infuse her work with humor, intelligence and realism, particularly in romantic and family relationships.

She graduated from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts in 1995 and shortly thereafter moved to LA to try and break into the "biz." She has since moved back to her hometown of Lynn, Massachusetts to start a family with her husband, Peter. They have two children, a dog and two cats.
